Faith in Christ Is the Element that Overcomes the World

[4] “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” – 1 John 5:4 (NKJV)

Can you reread the above scripture – this time, taking note of the word “whatever.” The Bible doesn’t say, “… whosoever is born of God overcomes the world.” It says, “… whatever is born of God overcomes the world,” meaning that what it takes to reign in the world in a godly way is beyond individuality. Things like divine ideas are part of it. In fact, the believers who are living a glorious life on this Earth are not mere Christians going through life. They are those who, by inspiration of the Spirit, bring godly ideas to manifestation.

However, when such people pray, and the Spirit releases the ideas, guess what? They look too huge for them to think of getting them implemented. Yes, that is the truth. But there’s an element in Christ that makes the impossible possible. It’s called faith. In 1 John 5:4, the ending part says, “…And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” Faith in Christ is the element that overcomes the world. It defies the facts, beats imaginations and removes mountains that arise against the fulfilment of God’s prophecies.

Have you been thinking about how to bring to manifestation the huge things God keeps telling you? Stop thinking about how meagre your resources are today, and look unto God. Remove the scarcity mentality that is preventing you from trusting God wholeheartedly.
