[13] But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.” – Matthew 15:13 (NKJV)
Did you know that since the day God cursed the ground in Genesis 3:17, everything man will ever do without God approving it usually starts good and ends up bad? I’m not just speaking about companies and establishments, but even our normal day-to-day activities. Many people complain about how bad economies have become and worse business trends, and it looks like it’s not getting any better. Child of God, I want to tell you that the god of this world – satan, has nothing good to offer to anybody. So, since the world’s systems are built (and still being built) on antichrist systems, they’ll keep failing.
One time, Jesus answered some Pharisees complaining that the disciples hadn’t washed their hands before eating with Jesus. One of the things He said was, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted” (see Matthew 15:13). By saying that, Jesus meant that all the commandments of men the Pharisees used to mix with God’s law would be defunct with time. Today, this truth still remains.
Every establishment that is not God-ordained will eventually fail. It could be a business scam, an idea that promotes evil, or activities that don’t honour God. All those things will come to nought with time, no matter how much money is dedicated to funding such works. For some people, God allowed their businesses to crumble, not because they were evil people but because what they did wasn’t aligned with God’s purpose for their lives. God cannot be mocked. To be on the safer side, ensure that you seek His will before embarking on any journey in life.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your guidance in my life. Help me to live according to Your purpose for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
