You can’t change the past, but you can do something about your future. Choices are more powerful than statistics.

Don’t focus on what you don’t have now. Use what you have well and generate a good report of labour and faithfulness before God. When He sees it, He’ll increase your level step by step.
Watch how your leader in Christ navigates his life with the Word of God as his lamp and learn from him. You may not be in his team to do this, but you can watch and follow him closely.
If the Bible says we should resist the devil, and he’ll flee (James 4:8), then we have to deal with doubtful thoughts by the Word of God.
You cannot reject Jesus today and expect a better place in eternity when you die physically.
