And that is why tongues speaking is so good and beneficial to the believer. It helps you to pray with so much strength and focus on God as the Spirit gives you utterance.

Proverbs 25:15 says that enough patience can persuade a ruler, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. That means no matter how high a person’s position is in life, you only need patience and gentle words to keep persisting for the person to grant you the favour you desire him to do.

If you give the devil a chance to have a foothold in your life, I tell you that he won’t spare you. That’s why we’re warned in the scripture not to give him that chance (see Ephesians 4:27).

As a believer, you must understand that we live in an evil age. So, the things you will see when you step out from your home or outside the brethren are most likely to be evil. Sp guard the purity of your mind by submitting it to the teachings of the Word.
Find and Listen to Gracious Words
You must guard the windows of your life, that is, your eyes and ears, with all diligence. What you keep seeing and hearing will affect how you think, and that will eventually influence how you live.
Pay Attention to the Words of a Wise Man
Of a truth, the words of a wise person don’t have noise attached to them. And because of that, it doesn’t sound so loud to the human inclination. The one who pays attention to their words will end up grasping the wisdom in it.
Calm Down and Speak
According to the wisest man who ever lived on the surface of this Earth, people who have knowledge spare his words. Furthermore, a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
Let Someone Else Praise You
Let another man praise you for what you have or do, and not yourself. Be so focused on fulfilling your divine mandate that you’ll care less about your possessions. And the faithful God will never cease unleashing you to higher realms of glory.
How To Keep Your Whole Body In Check
God encourages us to get wisdom (see Proverbs 4:7). Because He knows when divine wisdom is available in the mind of His children, they’ll live unto Him and keep their tongues in check, which will, in turn, help keep their whole body in check.
