God rewards intentional good deeds done in secrecy to help others. He’s a big fan of that. He didn’t call you to make a name for yourself. Put away media influence in your charitable works, and do what God has called you to do with a pure heart, with or without recognition from people.

Budgeting is widely practised in our generation. Although the word “budget” is not found in the Bible, there are several scriptures and happenings captured in the same Word of God that speaks of how important it is to practise it.
When God joined Adam and Eve together as man and wife, they were both naked and felt no shame. God’s glory covered them to the extent that sharing whatever each spouse had with each other was not a problem. When prenuptial agreement gets into marriage, it turns to a demonic scheme employed by the devil to breed mistrust and selfishness. Don’t fall for it.
Material blessings can make you live comfortably, but it doesn’t remove sorrows in life. Don’t depend on it.
If you’re working, make giving a part of your budget every month, especially your tithe and Sunday offerings. Don’t use forgetfulness as an excuse because you’ve been told in scripture to plan it (1 Corinthians 16:2).
Eternal treasures have more value than earthly ones. When you serve the Lord with gladness in your heart, your record of good works in heaven increases, generating more results for you in eternity.
Friend, don’t force yourself to please people by doing good things beyond your capacity. Life in Christ isn’t a competition. Everyone’s race of faith is different, with different divine assignments. If you cannot give as much as others do, celebrate God and do what you can by grace.
Decide what to give in your heart to the Lord, and with cheerfulness, do so. That will eliminate any anxiety of giving what you’ve not budgeted for just because there’s a need to fulfil or target to reach by church leaders.

In Proverbs 17:8, the Bible warns that we should not be deceived by a bribe. Why? Because it’s not always successful. You cannot always guarantee an easy pass for doing the wrong thing by bribing law enforcement personnel. One day might be a bad day for you.
Understanding gives meaning to everything you do and have. On the outside, people may rate your life with what you have, but deep within you, you’ll know that God is the one who has blessed you to get those things in order to fulfil your purpose.
