[15] “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;” — Psalms 34:15 NIV
I suppose you know that this world is evil (see Galatians 1:4). Several people have diverse ideologies in life which are contrary to what scripture says. And since believers are in this world, encountering such people is common. Sometimes, it happens at home, other times, at the office, roadside, public transport cars, etc. As believers, we cannot do away with such people in life. But there’s a sure Word for us in Psalm 34:15.
The Bible says that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry (prayers). The righteous also face afflictions. But his prayer is very powerful because it catches God’s attention very fast. Here’s something I’ve discovered about God in a few years of ministry.
God fights anything that fights against the peace His servants need to work with Him. That is why when they pray, God makes provision to deliver them from their troubles.
Righteous one, don’t let the enemy deceive you that God has abandoned you when you go through your afflictions. No! He’s right there with you. He said in Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV) that,
“When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.”
God will never leave you nor forsake you. He’s always there to hold you tight. Never lose your hope in Him because He is never going to give up on you.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your love. I know that You’re always with me through thick and thin. In the name of Jesus, keep my feet from evil. Watch over me and direct my steps. Amen!
