The Eyes of the Lord Are Everywhere

[3] “The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” – Proverbs 15:3 (NIV)

Did it ever cross your mind that God is omnipresent? If it didn’t, then reflect on it today. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:3 that the eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. That means nothing skips the eyes of the Lord. With this understanding in view, there are two things you can take note of as a lesson from the scripture.

  1. God has not forgotten about you, even if all men have.
  2. There’s no need to keep practising evil deeds in secret because God is right there.

Do you feel like people don’t care about you anymore? Maybe your father did not take care of you, or you got laid off because someone lied about you. Dear one, God will vindicate you. But you must keep watch in hope for Him to do it. Don’t take revenge in your hands. There’s no good in doing that!

Are you battling with secret sins? It could be pornography, lust, alcoholism or substance abuse. Submit yourself to God to wash you from such filth. Don’t pretend as if He hasn’t seen you. In fact, He has. Go before the Lord in repentance, and He will accept you.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for watching over my life. Help me to take care of myself and to serve You with gladness. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
