No Harm Overtakes the Righteous

[21] “No harm overtakes the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble.” – Proverbs 12:21 (NIV)

What do we say it is when a war occurs, and one party takes control over a territory? The party has overtaken the city. When a car does overtaking on a road, it does so by increasing the speed. Right? So, if the Bible says that no harm overtakes the righteous, then it means God has given every righteous person the tenacity to withstand anything that comes across one’s path.

There is no issue, no problem or any life atrocity that happens that you cannot bear it. If you can’t, God won’t allow it to happen to you. By the way, did you know that sometimes, God allow certain things to happen in your life to reveal unto you that you are stronger than you think?

Jesus never promised us a problem-free life. He prepared our minds to embrace turbulent times, first with the disciples. That is why He said in John 16:33 (NKJV) that,

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Think about this. There are problems everywhere on the face of this Earth. But despite all that, God is faithful in taking care of you. Face your issues with strength, and always know that your tenacity comes from the Spirit of God within you.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me to be bold and strong in my life. I know that You are with me, always. Amen!
