Let God Be True But Every Man A Liar

[3] “For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? [4] Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.” — Romans 3:3 - 4 NKJV

Sometimes, God can tell you things you didn’t expect to happen before seeing them. But when you look at your present life and where He is taking you, you can’t trace how you’ll get there. That is where faith comes in.

Joseph had two dreams about his destiny, but he didn’t know how God would fulfil them in his life. So he kept living righteously before God, and several calamities happened to him. But eventually, God’s promises got fulfilled. That means God is faithful.

Although in Romans 3:3-4, Paul was elaborating on God’s righteousness and how people would believe in Him, those verses speak more about God’s faithfulness. It’s written that even if some people fail to believe that Jesus is the Only way to salvation, God’s faithfulness will never dwindle.

It may seem your life circumstances contradict what God told you to do now. But I assure you that, He will bring what He has said to pass. Let God be true but every man a liar. In other words, count God’s Word as truth, although it’s already truth, in your life despite the circumstances, people’s negative opinions and feedback.

He will not fail to do what He has said.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer

Father, I remain firm in Your spoken Word over my life. I refuse to let my life’s challenges replace the belief in Your Word in my life wherever I find myself. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
