[8] And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: [9] the same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, [10] said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.” — Acts 14:8 - 10 KJV
How bad do you want what you’re faithing for? Well, I’m using the word “faithing” to refer to a heart desire you’ve conceived and been praying about for some time upon a spiritual encounter with the Lord.
In Christ, determination to get what you pray for by faith is fundamental to seeing kingdom results. You may have been praying for healing for some time. But how bad do you want it?
Sometimes, it’s not only the preacher’s faith that God uses to make the supernatural happen. It also depends on the determination by the faith of the listener of the Word.

Paul and Barnabas were, at one time, preaching in Lystra. And in the crowd was a lame man who had never walked since infancy. Everyone was enjoying the Word Paul preached. But the Bible says this man had faith to be healed. And interestingly, Paul saw his faith and commanded him, by spiritual authority, to get up on his feet. The man’s faith was so visible that he didn’t just get up; he leaped; Glory to God.
Sometimes, it’s not only the preacher’s faith that God uses to make the supernatural happen. It also depends on the determination by the faith of the listener of the Word.
It’s not enough to have passive desires in your heart. Let your faith come alive as you pray and meditate on your prayer request, day and night. And when the Lord sees your determination, especially to settle some controversies, heaven will respond to your case.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, I receive grace to possess an ever-active faith to get what I’m praying for. In the name of Jesus, let the supernatural happen according to Your will for me. Amen!
