“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.” — Isaiah 62:1 NIV
We live in a wicked world (1 John 5:19), where many evil things happen to the children of God because of their faith in Christ Jesus. Today, it’s common to see job interviewers make intentional preferences on who to employ amongst those who brought applications seeking employment, all because of favouritism. In the long run, most people who can do the work effectively get neglected and those with low skills get employed.
The Lord has brought a verdict on all these matters in the Word. And even though it was prophesied by Isaiah, its fulfilment is in our generation.
I don’t know how many wicked things people have done to you. But today, I’m here to tell you that based on what’s written in Isaiah 62:1, God will defend you. He’ll not keep silent. Why? Because you’re a Zionite as a Christian, and you deserve the best as far as what you’ll possess will be used for His glory.
Your vindication for every evil thing done against you will come. It may be late, but God is saying when it comes, it’ll shine out like dawn. In other words, it’ll be so evident that many people who never expected you to rise will see it.
Step up and move on in faith. For God is always with you and won’t suffer you to be forsaken.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer
Father, I pray, standing on Your prophecy, that my vindication as a righteous Zionite will shine out like dawn (Isaiah 62:1), that supply vengeance to those who do wickedly against Your covenant over my life. Give them fresh grace to repent and follow after righteousness. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
