“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 KJV
Did you know God created you in Christ to walk in good works, not in evil works? In other words, when He formed you in your mother’s womb, no product of evil was part of His plan for your life. But when a child is born, it’s in a corrupt world full of sin. Hence, this lifestyle of Christ isn’t lived until he comes to Jesus. Therefore, a person will start living according to the ways of God only after he gets saved, not before.
If I tell you to walk in a room, it means the size of the room is bigger than you. So if God has foreordained you to walk in good works, it means you’re in a realm of good works as a believer in Christ. It’s like submerging a piece of foam in water. The water is in it and around it. The good God is in you, working within you to both will and do His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Secondly, God’s presence is upon your life to help you do things His way for the expansion of His kingdom and to help people.
Friend of Jesus, you have no excuse to think evil about someone else. Once you do that, you’re living a self-contradictory life. Why? Because the One in you hasn’t programmed your life to emit anything evil, not even a single iota. And that is why the Holy Spirit is good at convicting your heart when you try or even think of doing something evil to someone else.
You’re in the realm of good works. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
You’re a blessing.
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for translating me into the Kingdom of Your dear Son, full of good works. I pray that my life will keep manifesting Your ways anytime and anywhere, no matter what I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
