Don’t Preach Yourself

God didn’t call you to preach yourself. He didn’t ordain you to teach anything contrary to His Word, including personal ones. Study the Bible, and preach the Word, in and out of season. By doing that, you’ll prevent many people listening to you from becoming you-focused to Christ-focused.

God Will Defend You

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.” — Isaiah 62:1 NIV We live in a wicked world (1 John 5:19), where many evil things happen to the […]

Serve the Lord with Gladness

In Psalm 100:2, we’re charged as Christians to serve the Lord with gladness. The word “gladness” comes from the Hebrew word “śimchâh,” which means “joy.” You are supposed to serve the Lord with joy in your heart always. So whatever you do which has been dedicated unto God, do it with joy in your heart by the empowerment of grace.

Share Your Faith Effectively

Your faith in Christ isn’t only for personal use. It’s also for sharing. Check within yourself and see what God has placed in there that you can’t see. So that by discernment, you’ll grow in sharing your faith for the benefit of many.

Don’t Set Aside God’s Grace

Humans, by nature, are usually selfish and naturally desire things destructive to God’s purposes in their lives. Don’t make God force you to obey Him. Just submit yourself to Him even if you don’t understand His leading. He’ll make your life glorious.

You Are Crucified with Christ

In Galatians 2:20, he said he had been crucified with Christ. Paul didn’t say, “we are crucified with Christ.” That statement was a personal confession he made out of the bowels of his spirit. And that doesn’t mean the scripture doesn’t apply to us Christians. No, it does. However, it demands that we’ll lay our minds to it.

Stop Inviting Destruction

Don’t receive God’s Word that confronts your wrong strongholds, and keep holding on to them. You’ll perish if you do that because it’ll always spark quarrels between you and the people you love. And if you don’t take care, you’ll lose God-made relationships only to realise later that you were wrong. Be careful!

God Did Not Call Us to Uncleanness

Don’t give in your body as an instrument for unrighteousness (Romans 6:13). Know that God has given you this body first to glorify Him with everything you use it to do (1 Corinthians 6:20) and to fulfil your divine mandate. Care for it well, not because of others, but because it’s God’s temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).
