Give Not What Is Holy to Dogs

Jesus told some believers in Matthew 7:6 that they shouldn’t give what is holy to dogs. Neither should they cast their pearls before swine. That means that as a believer, don’t share precious things in the faith with people who don’t see their worth. An example of this is talking about ministry matters with unbelievers. It’s such a turnoff conversation.

Each Day Has Enough Trouble of Its Own

Dear child of God, let it be in your consciousness that you have God, who knows the end from the beginning. He is the Alpha and Omega. He has everything about your life well figured out, even though He hasn’t revealed everything about it to you yet. He wants you to believe that He will perfect everything concerning your life. Only walk faithfully in His ways.

A Strong Charge to God’s Priests

The responsibilities of God’s priests are not written in one specific Bible verse. They are scattered across several books of the Bible, both in the Old and New Testament. One such verse is Ezekiel 44:23, where the Lord Himself gave a strong charge to His priests. Although you may say that it’s in the Old Testament, its unfolding is in the New Testament, meaning it is still applicable today.

The Lord Upholds the Righteous

With the rise of wickedness in this world, it is much harder to live fully committed to the Lord Jesus these days. People with corrupted mindsets tend to be many in several areas of life, and the believers there are battling with what kind of people they are living and working with. But dear Christian, let it be known in your consciousness that God won’t watch you to be disgraced.

Remain at Peace Despite the Personal Successes of Others

Dear friend, the Bible says you must rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. In your waiting period, remain at peace, and the way to do that is to cease thinking about the successes of others. Do yourself a favour by praying earnestly for the peace of God to rule in your heart and mind (see Philippians 4:6-7). And don’t rush into things just to please others.

Have a Long View of Life

Comparison is one thing many people don’t talk about, yet it is happening in the minds of many. Some people watch what their peers are doing and view themselves as having delayed lifestyles. If you have this mental struggle, the earlier you understand that God has earmarked every person’s walk of faith differently, the better. You must have a long view of life before you can understand certain things well.

Same Mission But Different Method

Jesus told the men who followed Him that they would no longer catch fish on the sea but would fish people. In other words, their mission as fishermen changed from sea-fishing to men-fishing: the same mission but a different method. Could it be that the area God is calling you into ministry with may not necessarily take you out of your career?

Darkness Has Treasures, But Not for You to Lust After Them

Don’t lust after material gains. I speak this primarily to the ministers of the gospel. If God has said He will bless you, it is not your job to figure out how He will do it. Just remain focused as You do His work. And when He finds your heart faithful, He can send even unbelievers to provide massively to make His work well-funded. Trust in Him!

Seek and Obey the Direction of God for Your Situation

Peter complained to Jesus about how they were unable to catch even one fish after an overnight toil. Imagine a husband like Peter going to work and coming back with zero. So painful. Right? But when Jesus showed him what to do, he caught so many fish that the net he was using with the other fishermen in the boat started breaking. One miracle cancelled out a twelve-hour zero work. Dear one, wait on God for divine direction.
