Tell of the Kindnesses of the Lord

[7] “I will tell of the kindnesses of the LORD, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the LORD has done for us—yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.” – Isaiah 63:7 (NIV)

Are there things you are genuinely grateful to God for? Maybe yes, maybe not. But as a child of God, even though you may not have all the things you desire, you should be able to tell of the kindnesses of the Lord. Yeah, I understand the word “kindnesses” is quite strange to you. But God hasn’t just shown you one kindness. He has shown you many kindnesses.

When was the last time you thanked Him for the air you breathe? Have you ever thought of the fact that without breathing for at least three minutes, you’ll be dead? And because of this reality, God has made oxygen free for all people. Think about this.

God is good. He has no trace of evil in Him. In fact, the earlier you understand this, the better. He is not the one against the evil happenings in your life. He has always planned to do you good, whether you deserve it or not. Is your wrong perception of Him affecting you? Kindly desist from that mentality. He is for your good.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your kindnesses in my life. May I continue to look up to You to do great things in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
