Don’t go out to preach without divine authority. If you do, you will return with hurts instead of joy because God hasn’t validated you. The ministry isn’t just about holding a microphone or standing before crowds. It is more about delivering oppressed people, which can’t be done without divine authority. Be guided!
When it comes to how God’s kingdom operates, there is a someway-somehow means for which God’s Word finds fruition in the one who receives it. That way is not the job of any preacher to figure it out because it is mysterious. But, be concerned with feeding God’s flock with quality Word.
Jesus said, “… whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” But before that, He pointed to those listening to Him as His kingdom relatives. Right? That means it is God’s will for you to listen to His Word. As long as you do that, you are in God’s will.
If ministries collaborate with other ministries to do God’s work, the impact of all the ministries that came together for this work will be more potent than what only one can do. In homes, a couple with a strong marriage will have a more blessed home than the one that is divided. Yes, it is a law.
Dear pastor or ministry worker, take care of your spiritual health in the Lord. You came to meet work, and work will continue without you around. Don’t do ministry consistently without taking retreats. Plan that so well, no matter how busy your schedule is. Forget about people’s demands and be with the Lord regularly.
The devil is an expert in blinding you from the cost of betrayal when you attempt to do evil things against someone you serve, whether in ministry or at the workplace. He has a way of making you desire to steal money without telling you that you can get imprisoned. Be smarter than him, and when you feel overwhelmed with bad things happening at any place you are, go back to God and ask Him clarifying questions.
While anybody can get rich by extorting money from others and stealing, you, a child of God, are not to trust it. Why? Because people who practice those things believe that that is a sure way to get rich, which is a fallacy.
Beloved, God is your fortress. So, as long as you are here on this Earth and walk according to His ways, there shouldn’t be a day your life has to be threatened by the danger of what is going to happen to you. As a matter of fact, let me tell you that in Christ, your eternal security is assured.
Talk is cheap. Because of that, many people don’t even count the cost involved in bringing their ideas to fruition before sharing them with others. You can conceive a beautiful vision in your mind, but that doesn’t negate the labour involved in raising that dream. Be conscious of wielding the power of God in you to do many exploits for His glory.
The Bible cautions that a believer in Christ should not do anything that will cause another child of God to fall. That means the actions of other people who have been in the faith for quite a while and matured spiritually have an influence on others.
It is in Christ a child of God can learn true forgiveness, which has the power to make one drop all forms of vengeful thoughts against the offender. If you know how much God has forgiven the debt of sin you carried in your life, it will be very easy to forgive others no matter the extent of offence they have done against you.
When the scripture says live in harmony with one another, God isn’t saying that you’ll not have problems with people. No! He knows you will, including the one you are married to (or will marry in future). He knows you will face problems with colleagues at the workplace, fellow believers in church, and other people from various areas of life. But He is telling you to be wise in how you live with them.
