Imitate the Faith of the Fathers
Dear friend, God wants you to imitate the faith of the fathers. That means you must study the lives of the patriarchs and prophets in the Old Testament because their lives have a lot to teach you.

We are in a race of faith. That race must be run with patience, not with a rushy spirit (see Hebrews 12:1). Therefore, believing God every step of the way is very, very important. And that activity, in its entirety, is work. In fact, that work is difficult.
The power of faith stands in stark contrast to the paralysing effects of fear. That encourages believers to strengthen their faith, support one another in love, and foster unity within the Christian community. May this understanding deepen our commitment to living fearlessly in Christ.
Your faith journey is like a race but with no competition with others. Why? Because each person’s destiny is different. That means there’s no need to compare your life to another person in Christ. But in this race, finishing strong is very necessary.
The devil can give a man what’s in the world but will take ownership of his soul in the end. That is why I am convinced nobody can legitimately rise to the top without God’s help. Any means to reach that height of life without God will involve evil practices.
Have you been thinking about how to bring to manifestation the huge things God keeps telling you? Stop thinking about how meagre your resources are today, and look unto God. Remove the scarcity mentality that is preventing you from trusting God wholeheartedly.
We live in an evil age. So the devil won’t watch you have a life full of bliss without trying to do something to turn you down. You must pray.
One of the most challenging things to do in prayer is to keep speaking in a natural language for long. In fact, it’s hard to pray in that way. And that is why tongues speaking is so good and beneficial to the believer. It helps you to pray with so much strength and focus on God as the Spirit gives you utterance.
Believe in God’s promises without figuring out how He’ll do it. When you feel confused, pray about it instead of taking matters into your own hands. He’s a faithful God. He will never fail you.
God’s timing is very different from that of man’s. So anytime He gives a promise, when He’ll do it is up to Him and not to us. Never allow men to pressure you to make decisions to tamper with God’s timing for fulfilling His prophecies. Your duty is to keep believing in Him and watchful in prayer.
Child of God, I encourage you to not only settle for receiving promises from the Lord but also probe further to let Him explain how He will do what He has said. Doing that will give you more evidence to stand firm in your faith concerning what God has said.
You have authority over the enemy and his demons. But if you don’t use it, they can capitalise on your ignorance and cause harm in your life without you knowing how to do anything about it. The devil is never your friend, so don’t entertain his evil ways in your life.
