How does it feel to go to work and return home only to realise that you’ve left your key at the office? Very frustrating. Right? If you don’t have a spare key, there’s nothing you can do to open the door except to go back to the office to pick the key up. Why? Because without that key, you aren’t guaranteed access to your own room. Simple!
Now, the Bible says through Jesus, all believers in Christ have access by one Spirit (the Holy Spirit) to the Father. Wow! That’s such great news. It means that despite anybody’s background, everyone can approach the Father freely without restrictions. Why? Because all believers are children of God, and God loves each one of His children uniquely.
Are you saved? Then get rid of all those condemning thoughts about God in your mind and approach Him as your loving Father. Are you not saved? Embrace the saving power of Jesus today by confessing Him as Lord and personal Saviour, so He will come and dwell in your heart by faith. You are never too far from God. Come to Him today!
