You Are Crucified With Christ

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” — Galatians 2:20 NKJV

Paul is one man who understood his inheritance in Christ. By consistent study, he came to apprehend several things Christ has done for him. That’s why he wrote much in his letters to the churches, which we use today in the Bible.

In Galatians 2:20, he said he had been crucified with Christ. Now hold it there. Paul didn’t say, “we are crucified with Christ.” That statement was a personal confession he made out of the bowels of his spirit. And that doesn’t mean the scripture doesn’t apply to us Christians. No, it does. However, it demands that we’ll lay our minds to it.

Child of God, you are crucified with Christ. That means when Jesus was on the cross, you were with Him on it. All your sins have been borne by Him on the cross. Every part of your old man is dead, including all the repercussions it carried, such as a family curse, sicknesses and negative handwriting against you. But if you can lay hold on to this truth strongly in your mind, these same things Christ has given you victory over will come trying your faith, and I pray you’ll not forget who you are in Christ.

The faith you live with in Christ doesn’t belong to you. It is for Jesus. That’s why you exist to live for Him and not your personal ambitions. The Lord is your guide. So submit to Him.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer

Father, I pray in the name of Jesus, replicate heavenly ways of doing things in my life as a testimony of the new man I am in Christ. Amen!
