God is the creator and owner of the whole universe. And because of that, He knows how best to run it, just as a company’s founder knows how well to run it according to his vision.
When God, through Jesus, established the church after the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples, He led them to preach the Word powerfully. And as more people came to the light, they dwelt together in the temple, fellowshipped together to the point of even sharing possessions and food.
Because of this practice, the church spread instead of collapsing when persecutions broke out. They had already experienced enough spiritual growth to sustain their faith before the persecutions came.
Today, things are different. Many ministries struggle to get people to come to church regularly without any event or conference being held. And that’s not good.
Church is God’s training system set up to help us believers receive from Him consistently, thereby aiding us to know Him better. That is why God leads ministers to establish specific meeting times within the week for services to happen. Its main reason is for us to get spiritually fed regularly, not to run the organisation. You’ll bear me witness that every committed believer in church will grow spiritually faster than the member who is intermittent with meetings.
Please understand this well. Everything God builds in His institutions through His servants is for the benefit of those who subscribe to it. So submit to God’s training systems. If it’s serving in His house, do it with all diligence, knowing that you’re the primary benefactor of it and the organisation at large.

Father, help me to understand Your ways better. Assist me to grow by making me more submissive to the training systems you instruct your ministry leaders to set up in the ministry. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
