“Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.” - Titus 3:1-2 NKJV
God has given each person a mouth to speak. However, what we use our mouths to speak depends on us, not on God. It’s appalling to see people use the same mouth to speak both good and evil about things and people.
According to Titus 3:2, all believers are instructed not to speak evil of no one. Speaking evil means saying bad things about people either with evidence or no evidence without any intention of correcting such people. And when this is done in the absence of the affected people, it becomes gossip.
What we use our mouths to speak depends on us, not on God.

If the Holy Spirit has made His home in our hearts, then our hearts can’t become a container of both good and evil intentions. Your predominant thought pattern determines the kind of words you’ll consistently say. Renew your mind with the Word of God, and your words will proceed from this Word in you. You’ll see that it’ll be easy to speak well of people wherever you are.
Don’t focus on speaking evil about people, especially those you don’t have enough evidence to judge their actions. Don’t divide people; it’s of no good in the house of God. Focus on obeying the scriptures.
You’re a blessing.
