[6] “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.” — Galatians 6:6 NKJV
One key to enjoying kingdom wealth is to share your provisions with your shepherd in the Lord. However, many people don’t do this because such people think it’s irrelevant in the house of God. I want to challenge you today that God’s principles still work no matter the varying opinions of men in the world.
In Galatians 6:6, Paul teaches us that it’s divine for the one who’s taught the Word to share in all good things with the one who teaches. My emphasis is on the phrase “All good things.”
“All good things” means all good things. There are no exceptions to it. So it’s not only about supporting servants of God financially but in other areas of life, like hospitality and favours. Well, I don’t say this to solicit support for pastors and preachers but to help you understand what God’s Word teaches.
Please don’t be mentally analytical about this principle. Even if it’s hard to do today, start with something small. And as God sees your faithfulness, He’ll exalt you in provision because He’ll know that trusting you with kingdom wealth won’t be for your selfish gains.
Make it a point to sow at where you’re feeding God’s Word from, if not your pastor, then the church. That is for your good.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for revealing that the one who’s taught the Word should share in all good things with his teacher in the Lord (Galatians 6:6). Keep me in remembrance of this principle to support my shepherd in the Lord in multi-wise as You endow me with Your provision. Amen!
