Jesus Is Interceding for You

[34] “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.” – Romans 8:34 (NKJV)

One of the greatest things that troubles many believers’ hearts is self-condemnation. When you engage in any wrongdoing, the devil usually finds a way of making you talk so down on yourself that you may lose consciousness that God loves you. And for those who cannot overpower the devil concerning these negative thoughts, they do worse things to themselves, even committing suicide. That’s what happened to Judas Iscariot. When he saw how Jesus was condemned, he couldn’t hold his remorse. So he returned the money he took to betray his Master and went to hang himself (see Matthew 27:3-5). What a tragedy!

Today, God doesn’t want you to end up like Judas Iscariot. No! He wants you to learn how to handle condemnation by living in divine knowledge of the truth while also being fruitful in ministry. In Romans 8:34, our consciousness is brought to the truth that it is Christ who died and has risen. Furthermore, He is at the right hand of God, making intercession for us. If God is invisible (see Colossians 1:15), then He has no right or left-hand side. So, Jesus being at His right hand signifies the place of authority and power (see Hebrews 1:3, 1 Peter 3:22). So, today, since the Bible says Jesus is interceding for you, it means no power or authority has the right to condemn you and each child of God, no matter how faulty one’s life may have ever been.

Don’t let the devil make you condemn yourself. Speak God’s truth to yourself by divine authority. Condemn every negative voice raging through your mind. And if you have done anything that breaks God’s heart, repent and go and sin no more, just as Jesus told the woman who was caught in prostitution. May the Lord guide you and strengthen you.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for all You do for me. Help me live fully conscious of the truth that You love me dearly, no matter what has happened in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
