Are you born again? If yes, what shows? Yes, there is no specific physical mark on any believer’s body to tell others that a person is born again. However, there are several scriptures that can be used to verify whether a person is saved or not. One of them is 1 John 5:2. It says that when you love God and keep His commands, you’ll love His children too. Think about that!
Although there are toxic families in this world, many siblings don’t hate one another, no matter what they have done. Why? Because of that belongingness in the family. So, you need to be born again in order to be a part of God’s children. However, the body of Christ is not made of perfect people. But because of the love of God dwelling in each believer, you cannot help but love people. Dear one, it doesn’t matter who has offended you or made a scandal of you in church. Forgive such a person because of your love for Jesus and live in harmony.
Remember that the scriptures emphasise making it as far as possible to live peacefully with all men (see Hebrews 12:14). God’s people are God’s people. He is on a journey to transform each one until we become like Jesus individually. Until every believer is mature, there will be problems relating to one another. Don’t carry offences in your heart.
