[17] “Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.” – 1 Peter 1:17 (NIV)
Did you know that God judges each person’s work impartially? Maybe you think God has favourites, so He places more preference on how He deals with men when it comes to work. Today, repent from that doctrine because it’s not true.
God is not a respecter of persons. He has children and loves each one of us uniquely. So, even though some believers are more spiritually mature than others, it doesn’t mean He allows certain people to go scot-free if such people breach His principles. Especially when it comes to evaluating each man’s work, as far as divine purpose is concerned, He deals with people impartially. So, even though God’s demands on your life may be greater than others, how He judges you will be unique, but He will be impartial compared to others.
Do not compare your life to others. Just live being mindful of what God has called you to do, and flow in that direction. One day, you will render accounts unto God what you used the precious life He has given you to do before Him. If you are lazy reading this, then it’s time to step up. You may never know how laborious God’s work is in your life until you start accepting responsibility. May He strengthen you.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, help me to be conscious of what You have called me to do and to live fulfilling Your will in my life, no matter where I go. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
