In Africa, my continent, we experience many power outage problems. Sometimes, the outages become so severe that several organisations and businesses become economically affected. Light, although not regarded as essential when it’s in abundant supply, suddenly becomes a concern to many in its absence. Do you see that?
When the Bible says God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, it might look like a joke, but it is truth. Even in James 1:17 [Boldface mine (NKJV)], the Bible says,
[17] “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
God is light, so much so that there’s no shadow cast around any part of His being. In addition to the light He is, He also dwells in unapproachable light (see 1 Timothy 6:16). Think about that for a moment. So, there’s no trace of darkness (evil) in God. That is why you cannot blame Him for anything wrong going on in your life. He is not responsible for that trauma or incident, although He can use it to refine you. Believe strongly that His goodness follows you all day long.
