I’ve had the opportunity to counsel several people for the cause of the gospel. With my little experience, I have realised that people often have unrealistic desires that make them crave things instead of pursuing the God who’ll load them with the benefits they seek. It’s sad that today, as soon as people graduate, they are looking for material things to buy, so much so that for some, their commitment to God dwindles as soon as they get jobs. Hmm.
The Bible says in Romans 16:25 that God is able to establish you. In other words, He can give you everything you need to enjoy life to the fullest, having no need, as you focus on fulfilling His vision for your life. And I’m sure that there are several believers, maybe not many, who are living in this realm of life. That can be your case too, dear child of God.
Do not rush in life or focus on pursuing material gains. It will put unnecessary pressure on your mind and can even lure you into doing heinous things to get money illegitimately. You brought nothing into the world, and nothing will you take away from it, no matter how rich you are. So be patient and let God promote you.

Father, establish me according to Your great riches in glory. May I never be consumed in materialism. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
