There are so many things we pray for in life—some pray for wealth, others for marriage, spiritual power for ministry, and a lot more. The list of needs and wants of humans is countless, and each person’s own is unique. Another thing about people, in general, is that they plan to get the things they want. You can meet a young man who has planned to get married by age 28. Another person intends to build a house at a certain age. But sometimes, these plans don’t go according to the timings we place on them, so we fume out, telling God that He has delayed us. But do you know God can supernaturally fast-track some things in your life?
Joseph was betrothed to Mary. In those days, betrothal was just like marriage, but with both spouses living in separate places. The father of the man has to ensure that he (the husband-to-be) has a good earning income and a house large enough for the wife to join him in holy matrimony. So, I presume that Joseph was busily preparing for his marriage.
But here comes an unexpected pregnancy that interferes with his scheduled preparatory plans for his marriage. The Bible clearly says in Matthew 1:24 that Joseph woke up from sleep and took Mary home as his wife. Period! Nobody knows whether or not a public marriage ceremony was held. One interference from God pushed his marriage plans earlier than expected. God can do that to you too.
Of course, Joseph went through suffering. And to tell you the truth, sometimes, when God steps in your case, you will have an uncomfortable life for some time until you adjust your life to sustain that miracle. It is good to plan so that when God fast-tracks it, you can know that it is God’s doing.

Father, position my heart and mind to accept and sustain every miracle You do in my life that will end up pushing some plans You’ve helped me to put down a lot nearer than expected. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
