Are you ashamed of the gospel or happy that the gospel found you? Some believers feel too shy to let others around them know about their Lord Jesus, who has saved them and called them with a holy calling.
Yes, it is more challenging to live as a believer in a perverse generation, where people don’t care so much about doing evil things to hurt people or even to make illegitimate money. The persecution of Christians hasn’t lessened as there are more unbelievers in the world. But as Christians, we are not to shut up or be timid about our faith. We need to proclaim the gospel in power.
1 John 4:15 tells us that whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God abides in God, and God abides in him also. Do not be shy about proclaiming the name of Jesus to people you meet in your daily walk of life. You might wait forever if you want to get millions of dollars before holding crusades. Getting one soul saved each day can contribute to thousands accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour within your lifetime.
The church must grow, but it will do so when Christians step out to preach the gospel. Preach the Word always. God is with you.
