Discern God’s Will Well by Renewing Your Mind

[2] “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2 (KJV)

One of the most pressing needs of every believer is to know God’s will for their lives. Why? Because no believer wants to miss God’s providential way. Besides that, no one wants to live a wasted life on Earth. So, finding and following God’s will is a very crucial thing. But knowing it is not that easy.

Romans 12:2 says that as God’s child, don’t be conformed to this (evil) world but be transformed by renewing your mind so that you can prove God’s good, acceptable and perfect will. That means you can discern God’s will well by renewing your mind with God’s Word. See, you can only think like how God thinks when you have His Word indwelling in your spirit. And that is possible when you start beholding the Word as you study it every single day. That is true, and it is being confirmed in 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV), which says,

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

God’s Word is the perfect mirror of how God sees you. Let God’s Word be Your daily food to become like Jesus in all areas of your life. And when you do this, it will be super easy to discern God’s will, even in the face of difficult situations.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for everything You do for me. Nourish my mind with Your Word so I can always live by what is written therein. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
