“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.” — John 12:46 NKJV
Before the coming of Jesus, there was darkness in the world. This darkness wasn’t in effect due to the absence of physical light like the sun and moon. No. Instead, it was the absence of spiritual light. The word of God was missing in people’s lives. People were living visionless lives and were wallowing in sin and shame (Isaiah 53:6).
But God, foreseeing all these troubles, decided to love the world and send Jesus as a solution to spiritual darkness. Jesus came as a light to the world. And now, it’s up to us to believe in Him to be saved and continue following Him so that our lives will be transformed till every aspect of our lives become Christ-centred through the light of the Word (John 8:12).
Do you want to live unto God? Then stop doing all you can with your human strength to please God. Believe in Jesus today and be saved. Surrender every part of your life to God so that by His authority, He’ll transform you and give you a glorious life worth living, both in this present time and eternity.

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for sending Jesus to be the solution to everything dark in this world. I pray that people will believe in the message of Christ that is being proclaimed unto nations. And I surrender every aspect of my life to You for correction, training and transformation. Amen!
