The Path of Life Leads Upward for the Prudent

[24] “The path of life leads upward for the prudent to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.” – Proverbs 15:24 (NIV)

Do you know that everybody is seeking improvement in life? Why do people buy new things every day, upgrade their education, and read more books? Think about the organisation of workplace meetings. All these, and many other things people do, are geared towards one thing: improvement. Is it bad? Of course not. In fact, it is good. But sadly, not all people get the improvement the way they want it. Why? It’s not just because of a lack of adequate resources but also the lack of wisdom.

It takes wisdom, not just money, to build many things in life. Solomon knew this. So, when God asked him what he wanted, he didn’t tell God he wanted a long life or honour. Solomon asked for wisdom, got it, and got the other things he didn’t even request (see 2 Chronicles 1:10-12). That means wisdom is essential in life. Many leaders remain top-class leaders today because they read to improve their knowledge. What are you doing to increase your divine wisdom?

The Bible says the path of life leads upward for the prudent (the wise). So, to improve your life, you don’t need to chase money or riches. Look for wisdom because it will help you coordinate other areas of your life, including finances, so you can experience the success you are looking for.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your wisdom in my life. Help me to utilise it to its utmost capability in my life as I seek to bring order and improvement in anything I’m handling. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
