[10] “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.” – Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NKJV)
People often feel frustrated with what they are doing for a living. Today, it is sad to say that even though many are working, they don’t enjoy their work. Is that a good thing to be living with? Of course not. Right? But whether you are on your dream job or not, listen to what the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:10.
It says, do what your hands find doing with all your might. Really? So, whether the job feels frustrating or not, whether it doesn’t earn much or not, put your complete effort into doing it. I must say that that is what it takes to build businesses. Every successful business person can attest that it takes a lot of diligence to establish his company in whichever industry he’s working in. There’s nothing that easy on this earth to do. Even if you are living purposefully and doing exactly what God called you to do, you must be diligent.
Instead of crying out about what you are doing that you don’t like, rather put in much more effort to harness that spiritual gift in you and invest in your education in order to rise higher in life. May the Lord be with you and empower you to be effective in the work of your hands.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your ever-flowing grace in my life. Help me put in my utmost effort in whatever work I am involved in for it to improve. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
