How to Conquer the Lust of the Flesh

As a believer, you are already in the Spirit (see Romans 8:9). You got translated into the Spirit the moment you were saved. But even though that’s your spiritual position, walking in that realm requires intentional followership of the Word and Spirit’s leading in your life.

Conquer the Fear of Man

Dear Christian, you must conquer the fear of man in anything you are doing. When you fear people, you’ll not be yourself in your own space. Fight off this evil affecting this generation, making people live as hypocrites and liars because of what people will say about them.

Do Not Neglect the Ministry of the Word and Prayer

When you neglect your fellowship with God, every other area in your life will begin to decrease in productivity because divine strength will be missing. Labour well in building and maintaining an excellent administrative system in your ministry, and you’ll be free from excessive administrative work distractions.

Remaining Productive in Your Divine Knowledge Is Work

According to 2 Peter 1:8, if, as a believer, you possess and abound in virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love, you’ll not be barren or unfruitful in the knowledge of Christ. Simply put, you can’t possess these qualities and remain an ordinary Christian. It’s just impossible.

Allow Able Ministers to Guide You

As a believer in ministerial training, you must allow able ministers to guide you. It’s not everything you’ll know how to do when you are under training. So, the guidance of experienced ministers can help you avoid many mistakes. Don’t be proud; be subject to godly correction.

The Consistency of a Mother’s Love for Her Children

No matter which parental figure has been absent in your life, God can fill that gap. Is it your father who failed you? God can replace Him. Is it that your mother abandoned you when you were a child? God can fill that hole in your life. Don’t live always groaning on an absent close relative in your life. God cares about you and will take care of you.

Love the Lord Your God and Keep His Requirements

There are benefits to following the way of the Lord, but not without sacrifice. Loving God can come with demands. Some of His instructions aren’t always pleasant because they can make you very uncomfortable. But it is always worth it. If I don’t know anything about God, at least I can boast of it that He is faithful. Hope in Him.
