Don’t Be Surprised When People Run to You Because You Have God

There are far too many people seeking to know God in this generation but aren’t finding Him because they don’t know how to. That is why you shouldn’t be surprised when people run to you because you have God. They want to experience the God you have in ways they haven’t seen before. When God lifts you and gives you that privilege, don’t mess up with it because it’s about the welfare of His people.

Do Not Lose Heart in the Lord

If you have made up your mind to get encouragement and comfort from the world, I’m sad to tell you that you have signed up to experience many unfortunate things. This world is under the rulership of the devil (see 2 Corinthians 4:4). So, don’t look up unto it for help. Instead, come to Jesus, and pursue a deeper intimacy with Him. Let Him, who is in you as a believer, be the utmost source of your inspiration.

By Their Fruits, You Shall Know Them

In Romans 16:17, Paul instructs believers to be vigilant and avoid individuals who cause division within the church. Unfortunately, prolonged involvement in a church community can expose believers to offences committed by fellow Christians. These offences may include betrayal, gossip, and acts of selfish ambition. While forgiving those who wrong us is essential, it is equally important to distance ourselves from those who persistently sow seeds of discord.

Clamp Down Your Worry List

You have to learn how to clamp down your worry list in your mind, especially when you are with Jesus in prayer or in church. If you don’t do this, busying yourself won’t make you enjoy the Lord, even as a minister doing His work. Before God, devotion unto Him precedes duty for Him, although both are important. Don’t misplace this priority in your life.

Actively Follow Jesus as You Serve Him

If you are a minister reading this, analyse what you have done in ministry so far. What are some of the things you have added to your organisation or work schedule that Jesus did not tell you to do? It is not everything nice and glamorous you see about ministry that you should be motivated to do.
