Live a Life Worthy of the Calling You Have Received

Consecration in fulfilling your divine mandate requires that you don’t touch the filth in the world. So even though you are in the world, you are not of it (see John 17:16). Let your thinking patterns and how you see life be rooted in the Word of God. In that way, you will always live a life worthy of your divine calling in Christ, no matter where you are on the face of this earth.

True and False Disciples

True service to God involves a genuine connection from within, a sincerity that comes from the depths of one’s being. So, whether in public or private, you’re expected to uphold purity in all aspects of your life. To serve God effectively, you need a heart wholly devoted and surrendered to His will because He is holy. Only then can your actions turn from mere religious routines into meaningful service aligned with God’s plan.

God Will Bring You into Judgment

Solomon gave simple advice to all young people in Ecclesiastes 11:9. He said that as a young person, just be happy and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and chase after what you see. But while doing all these things, know that God will bring you into judgment.

Abstain from Fornication

As a child of God, know that the Holy Spirit is inside you. Your body is His temple (see 1 Corinthians 6:19). That means, with His help, you can devise ways and means to control your body in sanctification (consecration or purity of your heart and life) and honour (value).

Keep Yourself from Idols

How do you rate your dedication to God as to others? Check what and who takes much of your time, because whatever claims your allegiance or much of your time other than your fellowship with God might be an idol in your life.

Keep His Word

Jesus’ sermons were always Spirit-filled and accurate in Truth. Yet, it mattered (and still matters) to Him that people should keep His Word instead of merely listening to Him.
