“For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.” - John 12:8 NKJV
Enduring factors are pre-existent facts before a new thing is introduced or done. Sometimes, it’s essential to put enduring factors aside when going for new things in life, probably because you may not have the opportunity to get those things at another time.
For example, when you see an opportunity to get an appointment for a new position in a new workplace, thoughts about how to merge it with your current busy schedule can prevent you from making this step. Can I tell you something? Busy people are chosen people.

In John 12, Mary (not the mother of Jesus) took expensive perfume and poured it on Jesus’ feet. All of a sudden, Judas Iscariot objected to this action. He was Jesus’ treasurer, so it would have made sense to lodge that complaint. But see Jesus’ reply in John 12:7-8 NKJV,
But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”
Mary intended to keep this perfume for the day of Jesus’ burial. But before Jesus would lay down his life, she knew she must honour him very well. Mary knew Jesus wouldn’t be with them physically forever.
There are some facts about life that will never change. So if you’ll put them aside and step up to do what God has laid upon your heart, God will honour your kingdom-minded decisions. Remember that if you want to be different, you have to do something unique. See whatever that’s in your hands as a tool to maximize kingdom impact. Don’t allow your life to be manipulated by the course of bad history. Rewrite that history by living differently. Change that bad trend by stepping up in God’s work while you intentionally put enduring factors aside.
You’re a blessing.
