“The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.” - Ecclesiastics 9:17 KJV
We live in a generation of many voices. Technology is on the rise each day. In a world of high surge in technology, both good and bad media resources are produced and distributed daily. And as a result of this, wise and foolish resources are becoming easily accessible via the internet.
From the Bible verse above (Ecclesiastics 9:17), the words of wise men are heard in quiet. That means, for anyone to give full attention to wise words, he must work on eliminating distractions. That also calls for us to check what we use our electronic gadgets for and when it’s appropriate to use them.

gadgets control you. Control them.
Many times, foolish things trend on the internet faster than wise words. Not everything that glitters is gold. Many things may crave your attention. But focus on giving it to wise words. Put whatever distracts you aside when you’re listening to the Word of God. Maybe it’s your phone or some notifications you’ve enabled. Don’t let your gadgets control you. Control them. Your attention is your prized possession. Give it to what’s profitable, not what’s popular.
You’re a blessing.
