[14] “And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:14 NIV
Have you ever wondered why Paul listed sixteen characteristics of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and started by saying that love is patient? I have been reading those verses for years, but that part hit me very hard when my patience got tested very vigorously in recent years.
Dear Christian, you must be patient with people, especially when working with them. You must understand that every single individual is different on the face of this earth. As such, navigating relationships with others is a crucial thing to master. Not everyone will do what you like, even if you are the boss at a place. So because of this reality, check out the people you allow into your life.
God sends some people to you to help you. Some people are also sent by conspirators and the devil to mess up your life. Be discerning because we live in a wicked world. May God grant you grace.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your love towards my life. Help me to be patient with everyone You bring into my life. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
