You may never know how your little prayer for that believer you don’t know will provoke heaven to step up for his case. People are going through very tough situations in this world. Pray for them!
Dear one, calm down when it comes to service. God will always reward you for everything you do in ministry and service in the secular workplace. That reward of God will always be greater than what any man will ever give you.
Submit to one another as believers. But in your home, dear wife, submit to your own husband, not just any man or another person’s husband. Your husband has authority over your life, not any man.
Ephesians 5:16 says that as a believer, you must make the most of every opportunity. Why? Because the days are evil. Hence, living wisely in this perverse generation as ambassadors of Christ is very paramount.
No matter all the impure things you have done, call all of them out and tell God to cleanse your heart of filth. Only then will you live freely from evil thoughts.
It is so good to have a Father you look up to for your everyday guidance and provision. The next time you get to a point where you don’t know what to do, pray to God. Ask Him what Jesus would have done in your case, and when you get the reply, follow suit accordingly. Never live confused while you have a heavenly Father who listens to you. Keep in touch in your daily walk with Him!
Dear one, God is bigger than the highest height of imagination you can think of Him. He is bigger than the most prominent dream you want Him to fulfil in your life. He can do more than what you ask or imagine.
Are you saved? Then get rid of all those condemning thoughts about God in your mind and approach Him as your loving Father. Are you not saved? Embrace the saving power of Jesus today by confessing Him as Lord and personal Saviour, so He will come and dwell in your heart by faith. You are never too far from God. Come to Him today!
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:14 that Jesus Himself is your peace. But how true is this? In that same verse, it is written that Jesus broke down the wall of partition between man and God when He died to take away the sin of the world (see John 1:29). And that was signified when the curtain that separated the Holy of Holies from the Most Holy Place got torn apart (see Matthew 27:51).
When you keep in remembrance how wretched you were before Christ saved you, it will be easy to live ever grateful unto the Lord of glory for giving you this eternal life you are enjoying today.
Many people preach salvation as an escape ticket away from hell. But how many times have you heard it preached as a gift from God to you? Ephesians 2:8 tells us that we, believers, are saved by grace through faith. That’s not all. It says this salvation is not of ourselves. Instead, it is the gift of God.
