Have you worked in an organisation where the top executives do not always communicate constantly with the team? What happens to such team members? They usually lose the zeal to keep pressing on as they do the work because of the loss of communication with the head executives. Right? It is the same thing that happens in your life when you disconnect from your Source—God.
God is the One that brought you to this Earth. He is the One who has given you that assignment in life to accomplish. But failure to come to Him in divine fellowship for times of refreshing and empowerment in His presence affects your spiritual fervour to serve Him. Jesus cautioned us to keep watch over God’s assignment on our lives because we don’t know when He will be coming back. That means there is an end date to whatever He has given us to do. If you sleep on it, it’ll go against you in God’s records of your good works in heaven.
There are too many people depending on you to rise and honour God’s call on your life. Yes, it won’t be easy to do God’s work, especially from the start with unfavourable conditions. But He is with You. Never give up on Him. Press on even if things are not okay. Things will get better with time.

Father, help me to keep watch of the assignment You have given me in my life. May I never lose sight of what you have told me to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
