Life is filled with lots of uncertainties. Today, things look great. Then, tomorrow, this becomes haywire. Jesus knew this, and He Himself had some challenges on Earth. There were times when people threatened His very life. Other times, He went hungry. Sometimes, He had sleepless nights. Think about Paul, who had a random life full of uncertainty. Indeed, there are atrocities in life people do not want to face, but they face them.
In Romans 8:28, the Bible says that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. So, if you are born again today and love God genuinely in your heart, then I’m glad to tell you that God has got you covered. Maybe you don’t have a job right now, or you’re going through the loss of a loved one, or you’re having an issue that is getting over your head. But can you remember God’s promises in His Word to you?
See, Jesus never promised us a problem-free life. But He did say that we should be of good cheer because He has overcome the world (see John 16:33). The systems of the world may be against you. But this Jesus, who knows everything in the world, knows how to vindicate you for all the years, months and days you have lost due to issues. It is well with you.
