[19] “Wisdom makes one wise person more powerful than ten rulers in a city.” – Ecclesiastes 7:19 (NIV)
Do you know that there’s a power that comes with wisdom? Yes, wisdom makes a person very powerful. A wise person can do so many things people in high positions who don’t have his level of wisdom can do. That is why I can boldly say that there are ordinary people who are better than some presidents of countries. But life is not always fair. A person can be wise yet not be so visible in society, so his suggestions don’t go far to the hearing of others. Hmm. But must they give up? Of course not!
If you are blessed with the spirit of wisdom but don’t have visibility, don’t shut up and do nothing because you feel people won’t listen to you. Yes, you will be frustrated. But frustration won’t benefit others. Turn over your wisdom to produce meaningful results, even if it doesn’t appeal to the eyes of people. Then, keep developing your work in your privacy. As you get better with it, God will bring people to support you and make your work more beneficial to numerous people.
The way to get to the ends of the world with your gift is not to promote yourself from the start. Just start with what you have and keep developing it. The faithful God will not watch you to be ashamed of your work. He will exalt you.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for all You do for me. Help me become more valuable to the work You are doing in this generation by harnessing my gift. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
