As a believer, you must understand that we live in an evil age. So, the things you will see when you step out from your home or outside the brethren are most likely to be evil. Sp guard the purity of your mind by submitting it to the teachings of the Word.
Solomon gave simple advice to all young people in Ecclesiastes 11:9. He said that as a young person, just be happy and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and chase after what you see. But while doing all these things, know that God will bring you into judgment.
When you submit to God’s ways to overcome temptation, the Bible says blessed are you (James 1:12). But what kind of blessing is that? It’s called the reception of the crown of life, which God has promised for only those who love Him. That means you’ll receive life to live above such temptation.
Never be so stringent on protecting your life that you’ll not allow God to flexibly instruct you to do things that are according to His ways.
It is never good to be partial to the wicked and deprive the innocent of justice. That means don’t place justice ahead of ungodly favour.
Today, make a conscious decision that God will be the One to tell you what to do, not your evil desires. Get connected to Him in intimacy every day of your life.
As much as you strive to be the light God has called you to be, be careful when handling the weak and fallen ones in the faith that come to you.
God lives in us by His Spirit (see 1 John 4:4). So even though temptations come to us, the God in us isn’t responsible for it.

Suicide is never the solution to remorse. Talk to the brethren about your issues. Don’t keep your struggle to yourself and suffer for nothing.
When you start to find your identity in what you’ve achieved instead of what God thinks about you, you begin becoming narcissistic. Recognise grace in all your accomplishments, not your human works.
